Becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator has had the added bonus of introducing me to a wonderful bunch of ladies known as the Jems, and I'm delighted to be part of their monthly blog hop :) I hope you've been enjoying all the fabulous projects so far, there are plenty more to come!
This month we're highlighting retiring products (those from the current catalogue that won't be available in the new catalogue when it's released in June). I chose to use the 'You're So Lovely' card kit and stamp set to make a birthday card and co-ordinating gift bag.
This kit was one of my first Stampin' Up! purchases, and I love how easy it is to get fabulous cards for very little effort!
I've added a couple of extras to the kit - two panels of card in Whisper White and Mint Macaron which I've layered over one of the pre-printed cards from the kit; the ink is Mint Macaron and Black Archival; and I stamped the ink splatters behind the butterfly using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, which is one of my absolute favourites.
It's been so lovely to have you visit, but now it's time to move on. I do hope you'll come back soon :)
If you like my projects, let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear from you!

I never think to add to the kits. Thanks for the inspiration. K x
So classy, and a lovely colour combo. Also love the twine behind the butterfly - so simple, but so effective, and not something I've ever thought of.
Thanks for sharing!
